And how long have you been married?
We've been married almost 13 years and have moved 11 times! That sure has helped me learn what I want and don't want in a house! Not to mention helped me figure out how to make it homey quickly and easily. What about you?
I have moved 21 times in my 36 years...whoa, that is a whole lot of moving. I had no idea it was that many times. We have been married for 4 years and have not moved once, but we do hope to move to Colorado one day. Happy Sunday to ya.
Let's see...I'm 42 and I've moved 22 times! We moved around a lot when I was a kid (my father worked for GMAC and they kept moving their headquarters between Detroit and Manhattan, amongst other moves). Then I spent most of my twenties in college/grad school...moved every year or two then. Since we've married we've moved "up" in houses, moved across the country, moved "up" in houses again...and then sold our "final" home (whose mortgage was beyond us after unexpected career changes) and are now renting. So, in a year or two we hope to move again. Next time we won't be moving "up" in houses!
Tina, again, I am a little jealous of you and your no moving self! But, I know what you mean to feel ready to move, as much as I sometimes complain about moving a lot, after about 2 years, I am always ready to rearrange all my stuff!
Ok, I think I am the odd ball in this discussion. I have moved once in my entire live, and that's when I got married. That is unless you count that we lived in a trailer and built our house directly behind it. And really I didn't move then, because I went into labor with our 2nd child, and my family had to move everything for me. That was 13 years ago and I am still finding stuff they packed away.
