Blissfully Domestic Living

The Magazine & Community all for you!

I have just discovered Debbie Macomber and I am hooked! I bought Thursdays At Eight a few years ago froma charity shop, to be honest, I bought it because I liked the cover, I thought it was cosy and pretty. I brought it home, put it on my book shelf and never read it, then last night, I was searching for a book to read, a gentle, cosy book, and I came across Thursdays At Eight, I flicked through the pages, decided it sounded like a good read, so I brought it down stairs, snuggled under my crochet blanket, and began to read, before I knew it, I had read nearly 100 pages, I was engrossed!
I am definitley going to be buying more of her books, I am so pleased I have discovered this author, and her website is just fab!
Have any of you girls read Debbie? If so, which books would you recommend I read next, adn which are your favourite?

I just started reading her books, as well. I am currently reading The Shop On Blossom Street. I bought it for a quarter at my local library. It is book 1, of 3. I am half way through it. I am enjoying it so much, I purchased book 2 and 3 on Ebay, so I do not have to wait , when I finish book 1. I will have to try Thursdays At Eight. I recommend reading The Shop On Blossom Street.

Hi Monica, I've just bought The Shop On Blossom Street adn A Good Yarn from Amazon, I can not wait to read them, though A Good Yarn may take some time in getting here as it is shipped from the U.S.A, (I live in the UK). I love Debbie Macomber and am really looking forward to reading and collecting her novels.
