I think this holiday season is the best time of year to decorate and change the whole look of your house...I love it!

Hello everyone, and Happy Holidays! What better time of year to be blissfully decorating than this? Hope you're enjoying the season as much as I am. ~Arleen

Got a question: Anyone painted a whole room in a metallic paint?
I picked up samples today (Home Depot - Ralph Lauren) and I have quite an urge to paint my powder room - walls and ceiling. My concern is that it will not be "shiny" enough for a small powder room. I love funky powder rooms and I don't fall for that ol' "don't-do-anything-wild-in-a-small-space-because-it-will-make-it-seem-smaller" thing. Small is small...make it a little crazy!

Hello Decorating Ladies!
I've been rearranging furniture and drawing floor plans since I was 5 years old and eventually got my degree in interior and architectural design. I've done it all...from custom 10,000 sq.ft. homes to campers! Oh sure...I can find you fabric for $400 a yard, but mostly I LOVE to do things creatively and inexpensively! I have lots of designer tricks and I'm always open to trying something new. Can't wait to hear from all of you!

I am new here, but wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and say, "Hi!". I can't wait to get to know some of you and look forward to learning some clever tricks.

hahaha. You guys are so funny. You may change your mind after you hear my husband's stories. One weekend he was worked 48 hours straight and came home to a new masterbedroom color which was a lovely shade of fuschia...it eventually became a nice cranberry color after a few more coats, but I think I scared him pretty bad with the bright pink.

I really appreciate ya'll joining in on the fun.

Feel free to paint away! I can keep my house clean, but Hubs is HORRIBLE at painting, and could use the supervision! :)

Thanks for the invite, but you are still welcome to come paint. I want to redo the bedroom
