DA and me

Hi, I am knew here--my name is Laura and I am a childrenswear designer. I had my business for 20 years and have supported myself and my daughter thru it. I had a factory 2 stores and employees. Because of my overspending among other things I put myself out of business. I have started an etsy shop (not doing to well) and I don't know why its not--we live hand to mouth--I really need things to change--I went to a few DA meetings--has anyone else tried DA?
