I am new to the "green" world. I recently converted my home to safe and natural cleaning products. I'm also working to get my family on some good nutrition aka vitamins... Recycling, well that's something I struggle with. I have the aluminum can bit down, but it's the other things. Any suggestions on how to best sort out the recyclables?

Blessings!

Reuse and recycle! We try to live by this mottoe and so here's my latest experiment- 'How to recycle a Broken umbrella!'
I've posted instructions on my blog so please stop by and see if its useful.

We've been working to live a healthier life and that includes learning to be more green. I'm reading Go Green, Live Rich and have found lots of great ideas. Looking forward to sharing new ideas here. Come visit me at www.broccolicupcake.com.

I'm "trying" to be more earth friendly and green. DH and I have quit using bottled water for almost 6 months now and we use our RO water in our reusable bottles. I also am making my own cleaners and laundry detergent. Many think it's just to save money but packaging is a very big issue with me. I hate garbage! My town does not recycle but we do recycle our newspapers, some glass and really try to just make things from scratch and keep the trash/garbage down. It seems to be working as our polykart has almost half as much garbage in it on "trash day". I'm proud of that but still know I need to do better! So I'm hoping to get lots of ideas and inspiration from groups like this and the blogs that I keep up with.

So glad to be apart of this group. My family and I have been doing our best to be not only green but sustainable in the use of everyday products. I'm looking forward to new tips and meeting other new greenbies!

Over the past couple of years, I've made changes to make our household a greener place. It is just important to respect our planet and do as much as I can to help conserve resources.
