I'm so excited to be part of the group!
My husband and I are working to make our lives healthier before we start a family, so I'm stoked to get any info that I can get!
Blessings!

I have a twenty year-old step-daughter, a nine year-olds son, and a four year-old daughter.
About Me:
Almost exactly one month to the day after I graduated from medical school, my son was born. I delayed my internship for six months to be at home with him, and when those quick months were drawing to a close, I requested six more. When the time came for me to enter back into the world of medicine, I simply walked away. My son is nearly ten years old, and aside from the occasional weekend photo gig (or home staging, my new entrepreneurial tangent), I've been a stay-at-home mom ever since.
So what am I doing here? I am not a board-certified physician, nor do I play one on TV. I am, however, a parent with the unique twist of being both a stay-at-home-mom AND one who intimate knowledge of the medical world. My vision for my role here at Blissfully Domestic is to sift through issues relating to our health and that of our children. Every day we are inundated with new studies regarding our lifestyles that often only serve to confuse us as they often contradict each other. I'll talk about these from my perspective, and I'll also share nuggets of wisdom I learned during my years of medical training.
What is your favorite part of Homekeeping?
Creating a home environment that is the backdrop for lots of laughter!
What is your least favorite part of Homekeeping?
Easy..it's the mountain of laundry that I can never seem to scale!
Wow! I too achieved a graduate degree (law for me) and in the midst of it all I realized that I didn't really want to practice law. I never even took the Bar exam, but I've got the JD. Most of my friends think I'm crazy, but I've never been happier. For me, life is much too short to be that stressed out!
Thank you for the welcome! You do have a very interesting background! This site is new and exciting for me - I need to figure this out and get involved.
Thanks for your input on my discussion. A great and different prospective. My friend is allergic to soy as well. She has been going to a allergist that uses some funky methods to help her deal with the allergy.
Hi Christine! Thank you for the welcome! Your background is fascinating, I always wanted to go to medical school :-) I look forward to many lively discussions w/you & the group as well.
