About Me:

My fantastic funny hip hubby and "my boy, my joy" light of my life 5 1/2 year old son are "my two men" & "my girl, my pearl" precious baby daughter are the people that make my family life sing with zing! As a fashionista for life, its a good thing they not only indulge my love of style but enjoy it themselves as well.

A former fashion museum curator and fashion professor, my love of style is not only something I practice, but something I study academically as well.

We love to travel and have lived in the US and Europe, including NYC and London. Our favorite places/things are picnics in Italian and VA vineyards, Chelsea pizza in London along with a trip Daisy & Tom toy store (now closed -boo hoo!) and of course that wonderful 1st visit to Disney World!

I focus on being a stay-at-home mom to my son and daughter, but find time in most days (nap time or bed time usually!) to teach (I'm a fashion professor teaching online), write (college and graduate fashion courses for the school I teach for, about fashion or on my mini-blog), create (I love to paint and make jewelry) and consult (brand positioning via www.thestyleinstitute.org ).

creating an atmosphere of love, warmth, acceptance and order for my husband, son, daughter and myself
