I've been trying to set up excel similarly to how you have done it. I have been using it for years to track our payments and debt to come up with snowball amounts and keep averages so we will know whether it is a good idea or not to enroll in the programs that offer bill payments based on averages. In the past, we have tried to give ourselves cash allowances and stick to it. But it also makes it harder to track and tighten the belt for those expenses. Anyway, Nice to meet you.
