Reconnected!

Finally! My internet is working properly again. I think this blizzard had everyone logged on so the servers were overloaded. I couldn't access any of my blogs for more than a few minutes and I couldn't sign on to MySpace. What's a girl to do when she's snowed in and home alone? At least I had a book to read. Hubby came home an hour early and his truck is now stuck at the end of the driveway. Hopefully, he'll be able to get out to go to work tomorrow! What a day. What a freakin' snow storm!

Snowed In Again

The snow just keeps on falling. I can't go anywhere today. Hubby thinks my car will be stuck even on Monday! I hope not. Hubby has to work today. He will be home in a couple hours. What's making this really annoying is my internet service is being a bear. I think I hate Time Warner cable. I am considering switching to DSL. We'd have to install a phone line, but I think DSL + phone would cost less than cable internet. I'll have to research that. I'm getting some reading done. I'm reading The PContinue

Vegetarian Update

I've been eating vegetarian for over a week now. I feel really good. For the most part, my energy levels have been normal to high. Today I've crashed a bit and I think it's because I was up late last night. My Fair Lady was on and time stops for My Fair Lady!
So far, I've been keeping the meals simple. I have had rice and veggies, noodles and veggies, veggie "Chik" patties--which taste just like "real" chicken patties if you ask me. Hubby said the Chik patty Grillers were disgustin… Continue

Going Vegetarian

My doctor advised me against eating red meat due to a health issue I have. I am taking it a step further and going vegetarian and seafood only. I'm cutting out all meat out completely to see if that improves my situation. Fish and other seafood has never given me much trouble so I don't see any reason to eliminate it at this point. Besides, tonight I'm going out for sushi with friends!
Anyway, my major setback is the fact that I am horrible at meal planning. I hope to get better at that possibly… Continue

Hi, DCG! Glad you stopped by. I love finding new recipes & trying them out & have found some online that I've tried too. I don't post them unless me & my hubby really like them, so give some of those a try. I think you'll like them! Thanks for the note!

Even though I'm tech challenged and haven't a clue how lots of this site works, I've earned tons just poking around. How exciting to learn from such an awesome group of ladies,
