Everything to Make Family Life Easier

Patting each other on the back ...

Just noticed that 1,100 + people have logged into my blog. BUT have only 1 consistent commenter. Thanks Darla !

Been thinkin' & decided that blog comments are worth about 25 $ to me. Since I can't afford paying people to post then what about trading for posts ?

If you are willing to read my blog & post once a day or once a week then I will do the same for you.

Just post a link to your blog & I'll head over to it.

What other suggestions do you have for acquiring comments ?

Do you want comments ? Why or why not ?

Do you interact with your posters ? Why or why not ?

Do you interact within the thread or do you email or both ?

For me, blogging is more about making friends than anything. That and exercising my writing skills so someday, when my kids are older, I can pursue that as a career. For my goals, Mr. Linky's are an excellent way to reach out to other people. I participate in a few now and then, but I imagine you would want to host one, for traffic increasing purposes.
I looove comments. Period. I hate to stop by my blog and hear crickets chirping. So sad.
I go to the blogs of people who have commented on mine, and comment on theirs, spreading the bloggy love around. Depending on the style of the blogger, I also give thumbs up on Stumbleupon (if they seem like they want more traffic).

Did you design your blog page ?

No. But you can do it. I got it from One Cute Blog. Unfortunately, she doesn't make them anymore, but she posted instructions in her blog about how to do it. There is also Pyzam, which has great templates for free.

ADORABLE...it does remind me of scrapbooking. Love the middle scroll down option with the scallops.

Is Mr. Linky the stuff like :

Fight the Frump Friday ?

Exactly. And the "Fro Me to You" post that I did today, that's one of my favorites to participate in.

Guess I either need to jump in the deep end on the linky thing or take a class.

Tried to add kirtsy link to my blog & gave up. There weren't enough directions for me & I even used the ctrl F option to search for the spot I was suppose to insert it into.

I'll admit that I'm a comment junkie. I check my blog numerous times a day and I get so excited when someone comments. I've found that the more time I read and comment on other's blogs, the more commenters I get. Makes sense.

0ff to comment on your blog. :-)

I also get really excited to see comments on my blog. I know a lot of people go on and off of my pages, but I feel special when people leave comments. :) I'm off to make some comments now.

I THINK I made a visit last week to those who've posted so far. Guess I better get busy on commenting for this week.
